Why Do Falcons Wear Hoods?

And, of course, no discomfort with that hood. Every hood is custom tailored to exactly fit the falcon’s head to ensure that it is easy and comfortable. We attach lightweight GPS trackers onto our beautiful feathery friends sometimes. The purpose of these trackers is to locate these birds in the instance that they would fly away or get lost.
